PWA36204 Certified Dry Film Lubricant

Sandstrom #099 Dry Film Lubricant is a paint-like coating specifically formulated for aircraft engine use and holds PWA36204 certification. This heat-curing material, containing molybdenum disulfide and corrosion-inhibiting pigments, is designed to prevent corrosion, galling, seizing, and fretting in aircraft engine components. With the ability to operate at temperatures ranging from -320°F to +500°F under loads exceeding 100,000 psi, Sandstrom #099 is an ideal low-friction coating for ensuring long wear life and corrosion protection in aircraft engines. It can be applied using brush, dip, or spray methods to a wide variety of surfaces, and once heat-cured, it remains virtually unaffected by atmospheric and fretting corrosion, solvents, acids, oils, degreasers, and elevated temperatures.
